Position Summary This position functions as an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Lead Business Analyst for the Cerner Millennium implementation and support project. It will have a central role in understanding the DOC's business needs and incorporating them into the selection, gap analysis, development, and implementation of third-party applications and enhancements. Responsibilities include coordinating the resolution of complex IT issues and decisions in a business context; it requires knowledge and expertise in business process analysis, information systems, project management, and state-of-the-art information technology in business areas.This position works closely with DOC staff and others outside the organization so building business partner relationships between the business units and IT are critical functions of this position. Additional duties include analyzing user needs, preparing business requirements documents and specifications, and designing, testing, and implementing application components into production. Salary Information This position is in pay schedule and range 07-33 with pay starting between $79,040 and $108,992 per year. Pay on appointment may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code.
