A well-established organisation south of Manchester (near Handforth) are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team in this newly created role, as they look to become truly data-driven. They operate flexible working hours and a hybrid working model, where you’ll spend 3 days per week in their office with the rest of your team (though this will be 5 days during your initial induction and training period). As the Data Engineer, you’ll focus on the design and development of their data platform, and work closely with various stakeholders and the Data Lead, to ensure that data is readily accessible for use across the business. This will involve designing ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, to integrate data from various sources into their Azure SQL database, and developing data pipelines to ensure the efficient flow of data across systems. You'll ensure data is stored in the most efficient way, so that it's ready for analysis and reporting in Power BI, which will allow for informed decision-making.
