QUALIFICATIONS Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited university studying engineering Must have completed at least Freshman year of the degree program Ability to commit to a 40-hour work-week for the duration of the Internship Strong communicator, great team player and overall hard worker Self-starter and self-motivated with a hunger to learn An interest in full time employment at York Space Systems Demonstrated interest in spacecraft and space systems Willing and able to work in our Greenwood Village, CO office (this is not a remote internship) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in the following languages and operating systems: C/C++ (proficient), Rust, Linux, FreeRTOS. Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in a team environment. Experience debugging software/hardware interactions and possible failure modes. Recent experience with inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms. Knowledge of developing, modifying, debugging.
