Essential Duties: + Oversee the Entire Software Development Life Cycle: From capturing requirements to software architecture, implementation, and testing within the Medical Device sector. + Develop Project Software Plans: Utilize either agile or waterfall methodologies to create comprehensive development plans. + Collaborate with Program Management: Work together to create precise software project schedules. + Provide Architectural Guidance: Mentor engineers, evaluate new technologies, and establish best practices. + Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams. + Translate High-Level Requirements: Assist the software development team in converting high-level requirements into detailed specifications and support the documented software architecture. + Ensure Architectural Compliance: Participate in code and design reviews to verify that the architecture is implemented as planned. + Embedded Linux Development: Focus on user space application development and maintenance. + User Interface Development: Develop and sustain user interface applications.
