JOB RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Lead the architecture and design of new software products and features.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ex. product management, manufacturing, sales) to define product requirements.</li><li>Take a set of high-level goals/requirements and translate them into the detailed software components and interfaces needed to achieve the desired result </li><li>Participate in strategic planning for the engineering department and contribute to roadmaps for software development.</li><li>Leverage prior experience developing applications on both embedded and server-class Linux systems, using tools such as GCC, GDB, make/cmake, docker, Jenkins, and rpm/deb packaging</li><li>Participate in driver releases that harden a development branch into customer-ready distributions</li><li>Research and develop effective data movement strategies across CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs</li><li>Debug Linux kernel space device drivers and the user space libraries that interface with them</li><li>Expand automated test coverage of codebase with signal in the loop control of external test equipment including USB/ethernet-enabled RF switches, attenuators, signal generators, and vector signal analyzers</li><li>Gather feedback from customers when debugging high complexity issues</li><li>Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to promote best practices.</li><li>Document technical specifications, design patterns, and development processes.</li></ul>Requirements:REQUIRED SKILLS <ul><li>Minimum of 8 years of relevant software development experience</li><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience in software development</li><li>Able to work both independently and as part of a cross-domain engineering team.</li><li>Significant demonstrated software engineering skills with experience in C/C++ development </li><li>Hands-on experience developing Linux user space applications for either ARM or x86-based platforms </li><li>Experience interfacing with low level hardware-peripherals (ex.
