Areas of focus span a broad spectrum from data analysis and fusion, artificial intelligence and machine learning, signal processing, multi-variable optimization, mission planning and tactical decision aids. We work in small teams, led by Senior Scientists, who work closely with new employees. Project teams work together from the initial system concept, through software and algorithm design, to implementation and demonstration. Insight Global is seeking a Tier III Machine Learning Research Scientist to support one of our large federal clients. This is a fully remote position responsible for a mix of capture-based initiatives and technical execution with a day-to-day including but not limited to: Contribute to complex data-driven development projects involving diverse data types using modern ML architectures Implement sophisticated feature extraction techniques from complex, high-dimensional datasets Develop and utilize MLOps pipelines to develop/train/test/validate/deploy ML models Work with teams of other data scientists, research scientists, and engineers using an Agile development approach Formulate, prototype, implement, and test existing state-of-the-art as well as novel ML algorithms to solve customer problems Contribute to the generation of competitively sourced proposals for contract R&D projects Produce and communicate reports and presentations that summarize technical results to technical and non-technical audiences Stay up to date with current state-of-the-art data science/ML methods and work with team to employ these methods within current and future R&D projects.
