<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div>The purpose of the Inside Sales Specialist is to grow our revenue and customer base through inside selling efforts while providing our customers with an exceptional buying experience. This is an "inside sales & applications support" position where inbound phone calls and e-mails from customers, representatives and consulting engineers are responded to in a cordial and technically sound manner. In addition, the Sales Engineer I will initiate calls to customers to ask about technical issues with respect to orders, request for quotation, and specifications. The ability to speak and write well are of utmost importance for this position, as is the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. This position requires a very service-oriented person, who enjoys helping customers and engineers solve their measurement challenges. The Inside Sales Specialist position will support the sales team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Take inbound inquiries via phone, live chat, and email • Answer customer inquiries, provide quotes to customers, and move opportunities through the sales funnel • Meet or exceed assigned Sales goals • Manage a product portfolio • Work directly with customers on sales inquiries to review customer specifications and make product recommendations • Work collaboratively internally with outside sales team and externally with our channel partners • Work closely with outside sales engineers to jointly grow the funnel for our flow product offerings • Actively generate new business through customer outreach and following up on marketing generated leads • May be assigned additional projects and responsibilities at the sole discretion of the manager POSITION REQUIREMENTS • Prior professional customer service experience is beneficial • Experience with inside sales or service of electro-mechanical products is a plus • Ability to multitask a must • Minimal travel for training and customer visits PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 2-4-year technical degree, or equivalent technical level experience TRAITS: Ability to uphold AW-Lake Company's mission and vision. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Product Management. We are seeking a product leader to direct a broad cross-functional effort to define and deliver software features and products that bring our award-winning smart locks to life. The team's goal is to build smart security products that customers love. POSITION LOCATION: This will be a hybrid role working out of our offices in San Francisco, CA, Oak Creek, WI or Berlin, CT RESPONSIBLIITIES: <ul> <li>Adding new features and improvements to the software-driven experience (iOS and Android mobile, REST APIs, backend data and firmware) that brings our Yale and August smart locks to life. </li><li>Leading innovation and driving end-to-end the launch of products and experiences, with little direction. </li><li>Serving as a software product owner on large scrum teams comprised of product designers, firmware, backend, mobile and quality assurance engineers. </li><li>Working closely with the teams bringing new smart locks to market. </li><li>Collaborating with ecosystem partners to refine and develop platform features. </li><li>Working in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables </li><li>Partnering with stakeholders and internal customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization. </li><li>Developing, owning, and executing product plans for assigned initiatives. </li><li>Collaboratively defining and refining desirable outcomes and team OKRs for new features and improvements, including UX specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. </li><li>Prioritizing and maintaining the sprint backlog for assigned products. </li><li>Guiding the product functional discovery and design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology, in close collaboration with product designers. </li><li>Developing and maintaining appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment. </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of experience in software product management (mobile and backend). </li><li>1+ years of experience with connected products. </li><li>BA/BS degree preferred, in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. </li><li>Expert in using Jira for issue management and report generation. </li><li>Strong technical literacy in integration technologies and connected devices. </li><li>Strong working experience with Agile methodologies. </li><li>Experience with solutions involving mobile technologies, connected devices (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth), cloud services and device firmware. </li><li>Passion for building products that people love. </li><li>Obsession with digital and cyber security. </li><li>Belief in using data to understand user needs and assess product health to help drive improvements. </li><li>Strong working experience with both predominant mobile platforms (iOS and Android), cloud services and connected devices (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) firmware. </li><li>Understanding of lock hardware is a plus. </li><li>Ability to grasp complex technology quickly. </li><li>Ability to deal with ambiguity and be flexible. </li><li>Staying calm under pressure. </li><li>Software development experience is preferred. </li></ul> Additional Information Hiring Pay Range: $125K-$170K *Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors Company Description: At Fortune Brands Innovations, we believe that our innovation and success are fueled by the passion of our people and the strength of our teams.
