As a Product Manager for our AR Platform, you will lead the development of tools and technologies that enable users to easily capture, create, and share AR experiences tied to real-world locations. We are looking for a Product Manager on Game Platform, who will define product roadmaps for the Web Store platform product. Niantic's games have millions of daily active users who have collectively made over 500 million friendship connections and walked over 38 billion kilometers. By creating mobile, location-based AR games such as Pokmon GO, Pikmin Bloom, Ingress: Prime, and Monster Hunter Now, Niantic has encouraged people to discover new places, meet new people, and get healthier along the way. The Web Store Platform Product Manager is proficient in the use of player insights and data in driving revenue growth for Niantic's portfolio of games. This role requires: <ul> <li>Deep understanding of web store monetization principles and mechanics for F2P mobile games. </li><li>Experience in developing content management tools and payment solutions. </li><li>A track record in meeting financial targets. </li><li>A demonstrated ability to drive collaboration across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul>Responsibilities <ul> <li>Develop and implement platform monetization strategies for Niantic's portfolio of games, with a focus on web monetization. </li><li>Own player-facing web channels and internal team facing SKU management portals. </li><li>Employ customer and player understanding and empathy to define the right problems and products we are pursuing. Drive process for product discovery, roadmaps and OKRs with the singular mission to make our games successful. </li><li>Drive alignment with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Design, Games, Legal, Finance, Accounting and BD to create a cohesive vision of Niantic's monetization platform. </li><li>Conduct regular KPI reviews to track and enhance platform utilization, user engagement, and revenue metrics. </li><li>Perform value analysis to ensure product decisions drive desired business outcomes </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings. </li><li>Required in-office 2 days on Wednesday and Thursday. </li></ul>Qualifications <ul> <li>5+ years of product management experience. </li><li>High degree of proficiency in driving data-informed product decisions, with the ability to leverage data to power segmentation and personalization. SQL fluency a plus. </li><li>Self-motivated and proactive, a high tolerance for ambiguity and a willingness to make calls with limited information. </li><li>Worked with competing resources and priorities, through the product life cycle from planning, through to launch.
