Tesla is seeking a Hardware Product Manager focused on Vehicle Accessories to join our Global Vehicle Accessories and Merchandise team. This team is responsible for the overall Tesla Shop business with the Product Managers focused on the development, improvement and launch of aftermarket vehicle accessories for current and future vehicle programs. As a member of the Vehicle Accessories team, you will wear many hats and work in a fast-paced environment. This is a multi-faceted role where broad knowledge of product engineering, product development, supply chain, e-commerce management and material planning/distribution is critical. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate with a large number of internal stakeholders globally, ensuring best-in-class products are developed and launched according to our global product roadmap. RESPONSIBILITIES: Formulate product strategy, vision, and roadmaps to ensure we are on the quickest and best path for success. Work with the different business areas and roles to identify their pain points, derive solutions to solve their issues, and provide the highest ROI. Generate requirements documents in business terms, and create clear requirements to enable application development for both short term and long-term needs. Present solutions and obtain buy-off from the user community in a clear and concise manner so that everyone is on the same page. Work with developers in order to create meaningful, powerful, and high quality solutions based on your requirements to meet the needs of the business. Provide project management skills to properly set and manage expectations and assure solution delivery. Analyze the impact, usage, and adoption of features to confirm they had the right effect on the business, and if not, make corrective actions to ensure it meets the required success criteria. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Completed bachelors degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience operating as a software product manager. Minimum of 3 years of industry experience at an ISP (internet service provider) or telecommunications company. Experience with SQL. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience working on high-volume international operations/business support systems, including applications such as Marketing, CRM, Customer Service, Customer Portal, Field Service Apps, Payment Platforms, Billing, etc. Experience designing/developing large-scale, global software-as-a-service (SaaS) systems using a service-based architecture or message bus. Experience managing OSS/BSS systems at a large-scale telecommunications, internet service provider, or subscription service company. Expertise working in a Microsoft .NET development environment and using Team Foundation Services (TFS). Familiar with SCRUM/Agile development.
