About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for a Principal Omnichannel Product Manager who will be responsible for visioning, building, and driving customer-centric, omnichannel programs and experiences for our Electrophysiology (EP) franchise to produce meaningful results for our Cardiology business. The Principal Omnichannel Program Manager for Electrophysiology will have a deep understanding of designing, developing, executing, and measuring success of customer-centric omnichannel programs, and possesses the ability to apply this experience in creative ways that support the franchise’s commercial objectives. This person will entrench themselves in the assigned customer, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both internal and external audiences alike. They must be able to translate customer insights into actionable, integrated, commercial experiences that increase awareness while simultaneously informing, educating, activating, and encouraging product preference. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program analytics—including establishing KPIs, measuring performance, leading monthly/quarterly reporting processes, and tracking ROI.
Your responsibilities will include:
Understand mindset/behavior of the EP audiences, including key customer segments, referring physicians, and AFib patients, including key barriers to adoption, to be able to effectively incorporate insights into the development of customer-centric, omnichannel, personalized objectives, strategies, and programs.
Leverage available and initiate new data collection and market research programs to analyze and apply the customer data for planning development. Obtain and apply immersive knowledge of the customer and end user, becoming a SME on the customer, including demographic, ethnographic, psychographic, behavioral, topic- and channel-related details that inform the direction of channel plans and programs.
Formulate and execute annual and long-range marketing plans and programs for the EP audiences. Collaborate with leadership to set direction to achieve overall organization objectives.
Oversee all aspects of programming for assigned audiences, ensuring sister functions, partners, and dependencies are delivering as promised, to ensure results are measured and achieved. Empower collaborators to work independently, creating a team-oriented environment that welcomes early identification of and problem solving for barriers and obstacles.
Ensure EP customer-centric omnichannel plans are appropriately aligned with other BUs and best practices are shared.
Collaborate with analysts and other stakeholders to create holistic campaign reports that provide actionable insights to key stakeholders and leadership. Evaluate program impact and reassess objectives and outcomes; responsible for continuous improvement of the EP audience programs; track results including identification and monitoring of key metrics.
Establish program KPIs, track performance benchmarks, develop strategies to identify return on investment, and accelerate data-driven insights. Preference will be given to candidates who know intricacies of Salesforce.com reports.
Communicate proactively to all levels of management and all stakeholders, managing expectations, timelines, and logistics. Demonstrate creativity and agility by thinking creatively on the fly, applying analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer experience and its intersection with viable execution.
Contribute to leading, guiding, and driving our marketing transformation and journey toward truly omnichannel, customer-centric experiences across divisions and workstreams (including CRM and Watchman teams).
Required qualifications:
5+ years of marketing, communications, channel, account, or media management experience.
Experience overseeing and/or developing audience-centric, multi-channel, integrated plans for medical device/healthcare clients.
Experience developing and executing multi-channel plans that targeted healthcare audiences, including physician segments, referring physician, and patient audiences.
Experience engaging and aligning executive level leadership.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred qualifications:
Advanced degree such as MBA.
Experience working directly in or adjacent to marketing in a healthcare industry.
A track record in leading and delivering complex large-scale projects and partnerships, often managing a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Program and project leadership skills.
Financial analysis, budget planning and management experience.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing tools (Marketing Cloud, Customer Data Platform, Interaction Studio), as well as the Microsoft Office suite of tools.

About the role:
This Mapping System Product Manager has a critical role in our Electrophysiology division, with responsibility for supporting the US mapping system rollout of PFA mapping integration and managing software iterations. The focus of this role is downstream marketing, encompassing the development and implementation of marketing messages, programs, and tactics to drive market share, as well as overseeing product lifecycle management, new product launches, and sustaining efforts.
The employee will be based at our Arden Hills, MN location and will follow a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be onsite in Arden Hills three days per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
Use classic marketing capabilities to further business objectives, to support BSC Mapping System such as market understanding, market segmentation, customer targeting, product positioning and message development.
Execute installation of PFA mapping integration.
Supports innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs and tools to create value and support the needs of the Sales Team for BSC Mapping System.
Evaluates promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
Analyzes franchise sales trends and performs customer segmentation to drive strategic and tactical decision making – synthesizes into dashboards.
Execution of strategies to maximize the profitability of product lines by collaborating with cross-functional partners conducting market research and performing financial analyses.
Supports and leads execution of comprehensive competitive response plans.
Serve as the subject matter expert for BSC Mapping Systems including both Capital and Software.
Spends time in the field to gain market and clinical insights.
Assists on forecasts for supply chain as well as overall revenue planning.
Supports corporate accounts on IDN strategy.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, clinical or related Healthcare/Biomedical field.
3+ years of medical device experience.
Downstream experience (i.e. product management, sales engagement and campaign).
Analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects.
Understanding of how to determine customer needs within medical device markets.

About This Role

This Senior Global Product Manager is responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for Boston Scientific’s Electrophysiology (EP) Pulse Field Ablation (PFA) portfolio, with a focus on global product marketing strategy and ensuring a world class customer experience today, while guiding product lifecycle strategy to deliver global growth. This includes involvement in developing and implementing marketing initiatives, driving the launch of multiple products globally, evolving the portfolio, seeking new solutions, and championing global commercial execution to ensure achievement of ambitious growth targets.

The person in this role will achieve their goals working through their team and in direct collaboration with key functions, regions, and countries. This person is an experienced marketer of highly technical and clinical products, demonstrates strength in customer focus, franchise management, product launch execution, commercialization, and business acumen. This role requires a high degree of collaboration, anticipation, and a flexible mindset.

This is a hybrid work mode based out of our Arden Hills, MN facility with the expectation of being on-site 3 days per week.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Gain deep understanding of key clinical, economic drivers and unmet therapy needs for customers globally – serving as a core leader on PFA program core teams and advocating for prioritization of key needs that can move the market
Conduct market research and analysis to identify unmet needs and opportunity in PFA space
Develop and execute strategic plans for new product launches, including market positioning, pricing, and core team management
Effectively work cross functionally and run core teams to generate a comprehensive launch plan with a high level of collaboration to ensure global teams are aligned to product strategy, messaging and defined KPIs
Develop, test, and finalize value proposition of high priority projects in development cycle with support from marketing partners, clinical, regulatory, R&D, health economics, and other appropriate partners
Conduct market research to validate/test messaging, pricing, segmentation based on project needs
Utilize data and analytics to measure product performance and make data driven decisions to optimize product strategy
Foster culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product team
Represent company at conferences, industry events and customer meetings to promote our products and build relationships
Develops global relationships and builds credibility/influence with internal cross-functional stakeholders across multiple countries/regions
Continue to support continuation marketing efforts when needed in launched countries
Support global initiatives through clinical data dissemination, education, resources, and collateral creation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Healthcare/Biomedical
5+ years of experience in marketing or sales in a regulated environment
Analytical, quantitative, and financial acumen with strategic thinking skills
Experience working globally across multiple countries/regions
Upstream or downstream experience, with experience creating impactful marketing and product launch plans
Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects and working as an integral cross functional team member
Able to travel up to 30% (including international)
