Influences and drives product research, analysis, design and development. Guides, consults and monitors implementation.</li><li>Coordinates with relevant control partners (to include Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management) to ensure product offerings are designed and implemented in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Identifies and analyzes key products, portfolio performance, and profitability drivers.</li><li>Assesses priority of various product and pricing opportunities based on strategic alignment, key objectives and other success and viability measurements.</li><li>Develops detailed product plan to achieve long and short-term profit objectives.</li><li>Provides input into rate, loss, budget, and other planning teams.</li><li>Partners with MGAs to develop and enable creative product and coverage solutions for customer needs. Leads in the alignment of portfolio profitability and growth strategies such as target customers.</li><li>Conducts exploration and analysis of key data to support on-going monitoring, maintenance, and underwriting of existing products.</li><li>Drives carrier development of new products and supports Administrators in the launch of those offerings.</li></ul><ul><li>Builds, and works with, structured information and data sets from multiple sources to develop analytical insights.</li><li>Analyzes product and portfolio specific P&L performance, opportunities, new product performance metrics and initiative results.</li><li>Partners with Actuarial and Underwriting to identify relevant portfolio views and profit opportunities, identify emerging themes, and internal and external trends to improve performance and minimize risk</li><li>Builds reports using data tools to supervise business performance and communicate results.</li><li>May manage staff of Product Analyst(s).</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience</li><li>7+ years of experience in insurance pricing, underwriting and/or product performance.</li><li>Veterinary or Animal Health (dogs and cats) knowledge or experience is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data to drive informed product decisions.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and analysis for internal audiences</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to travel up to 10%</li></ul> #carrier #Hybird All of our jobs come with great benefits including healthcare, parental leave and opportunities for career advancements.
