Ensure that costs and inventory are controlle and productivity and performance levels are attained.</li><li>Lead the engineering team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, including service standards, equipment, and work schedules.</li><li>Develop systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property.</li><li>Coordinate and monitor contractors and suppliers to ensure that services and goods are delivered in line with the hotel’s policies.</li><li>Ensure guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service always.</li><li>Operate in compliance with all local laws and government regulations and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.</li><li>Establish and deliver an effective planned preventative maintenance programmed (PPM).</li><li>Ensure compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act (ADA)</li><li>Communicate with General Manager, senior leaders and hotel department heads on a regular basis regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure(s), related systems, and equipment offering prudent, cost effective proposals for maintaining these systems. </li><li>Oversee necessary repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel</li><li>Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.</li><li>Adhere to all corporate-required purchasing policies and controls, such as - all outside contractor bids, budgets, and schedules.
