In this role, you will work closely with our CIO and CFO to support data-driven decision making within the company. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Report Management – Assist in and gradually overtake the maintenance, updating, and distribution of company-wide reports to ensure timely/accurate delivery. Mostly carried out through PowerBI, KlipFolio, Salesforce, and Excel.</li><li>SQL Query Writing – Develop and refine SQL queries for data extraction, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Report Auditing – Support the auditing of reports to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and ease of maintenance.</li><li>Vetting Tasks – Assist in vetting processes as needed, often using the above skills, ensuring data quality and completeness.</li><li>Python Programming for Automation – Work on automating routine data tasks using Python, particularly with Pandas.</li><li>Data Cleaning and Entry – Perform data cleaning and entry tasks with attention to detail and precision.</li><li>Solution Development – Assist in developing and refining business intelligence solutions under senior team member guidance.</li><li>Documentation – Maintain clear and accurate documentation of processes and solutions, facilitating the scalability of our team.</li><li>Collaboration – Work closely with the CIO and CFO to ensure smooth project execution.</li></ul> Essential Skills & Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency and experience with PowerBI and SQL (we use Azure SQL, specifically) is a must.</li><li>Familiarity with Python [pandas, pyodbc, simple_salesforce, Jupyter notebooks].</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Aptitude and willingness to present data to non-technical and leadership audiences.</li><li>Experience with Azure and Salesforce is a plus!</li></ul>

As the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making by leveraging data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights. Your analysis will directly support field sales and leadership across various departments in shaping the strategy, guiding key initiatives, and enhancing sales performance. In close partnership with teams across marketing, finance, product, and the Commercial department, you'll help uncover market trends, identify growth opportunities, and enhance understanding of the FinThrive portfolio's reach. By leading data and analytics initiatives focused on sales operations, you will be instrumental in optimizing overall commercial go-to-market efforts.

What you will do

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

Aggregate, analyze, and interpret sales performance data from multiple sources to produce accurate, actionable insights for Commercial leadership and sellers (including Market Development Team and Solution Consulting & Enablement).

Create, maintain, and refine key performance metrics and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools to support sales and performance improvement goals.

Leverage historical data and trends to forecast future growth, identify potential risks, and support proactive course-correction measures.

Support Strategic Decision-Making

Provide timely insights and data-driven recommendations for territory planning, compensation structure, and enablement initiatives, contributing to the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Collaborate with Solutions Consulting & Enablement, Market Development Team, and Sales teams to provide performance trends and analysis that highlight growth opportunities.

Data Integrity & Quality Assurance

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all sales data sources, implementing QA processes to maintain high data integrity. Work with the Director of Sales Operations to establish a standard operating procedure for regularly scheduled data hygiene checks across key commercial data.

Document, structure, and manage data updates within platforms such as Salesforce, Excel, and Power BI, adhering to privacy and security protocols.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with key stakeholders across departments (e.g., finance, product, marketing, customer success) to develop cross-functional data programs that enhance strategic initiatives.

Support M&A integration activities by consolidating and analyzing data from newly acquired sources, ensuring seamless reporting integration.

Process Optimization & Automation

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation in data reporting, making insights more accessible and actionable for sales leaders.

Develop prescriptive analyses and data "doses" (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) that are easily consumable and support proactive sales efforts.

Documentation & Presentation

Assist in preparing data and insights for executive-level presentations, such as, but not limited to Weekly Commercial Sales Meetings, Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, ELT/SLT meetings, and Board of Director meetings.

Document business requirements and translate them into functional solutions within Salesforce and other analytics tools.

What you will bring

3+ years of experience in revenue operations, finance, data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, with a track record of supporting business operations at scale

3+ years working specifically in Sales, Marketing or Commercial Operations

Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce.com

Basic to advanced SQL and data modeling skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Excellent communication skills for both cross-functional collaboration and data presentation

Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute proactively to evolving business needs

What we would like to see

Bachelor's degree in data science, Mathematics, Business Intelligence, Finance, or a related field

Experience with AI and machine learning in analytics is a plus

Skills and Duties you will be Responsible for while in this role:
Data Analysis & Business Insights:
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive market research and scenario planning to anticipate client business needs and identify industry trends.</li>
<li>Perform in-depth analyses to forecast and evaluate potential business challenges and opportunities, delivering actionable insights for leadership and clients. </li>
<li>Support strategy development by providing clear, well-researched analyses that inform critical business and operational decisions.</li>
</ul>
Data Visualization & Reporting:
<ul>
<li>Develop compelling, user-friendly data visualizations and reports to enable internal and external stakeholders to make informed decisions. </li>
<li>Ensure that data insights are communicated in an intuitive, visually appealing manner, contributing to final work products delivered to clients. </li>
<li>Create data-driven narratives and strategic recommendations for leadership, ensuring clear, concise, and impactful presentations.</li>
</ul>

Collaboration & Client Engagement: 
<ul>
<li>Work cross-functionally with leadership, consultants, and project managers to support client objectives, from market research to business strategy formulation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide data-driven insights for targeted messaging and campaigns that align with client needs. </li>
<li>Assist project teams with resource planning, task tracking, and scheduling, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.</li>
</ul>

Benchmarking & Competitive Intelligence:
<ul>
<li>Conduct benchmarking analyses of industry markets and competitors to assess areas of opportunity and driving strategic competitiveness for clients.</li>
<li>Continuously monitor and update data sources to ensure accuracy, reliability, and relevance in a fast-changing market landscape. </li>
<li>Leverage internal and external relationships to enhance business growth and align industry innovations with client needs.</li>
</ul>

Innovation & Process Improvement:
<ul>
<li>Recommend innovative approaches to enhance research capabilities, improve key performance indicators (KPIs), and streamline reporting processes. </li>
<li>Apply advanced analytical frameworks and methodologies to solve complex strategy challenges, fostering continuous improvement in client engagement and internal processes.</li>
