Primary Responsibilities <ul> <li>Market Research and Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis to identify and forecast market trends that impact SC Nexus initiatives. </li><li>Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with researchers, industry partners, and government entities to provide analytical support for projects related to energy storage, advanced manufacturing, and national energy security. </li><li>Industry Monitoring: Monitor industry developments in the energy sector, particularly energy storage technologies, to ensure SC Nexus remains informed of key advancements. </li><li>Data Interpretation and Reporting: Analyze and interpret data from various sources, ensuring reports and insights are accurate, reliable, and actionable. </li><li>Report and Dashboard Development: Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to internal teams and external stakeholders. </li><li>Cost-Benefit Analysis: Perform cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives. </li><li>Strategic Insight Generation: Provide data-driven insights to guide SC Nexus's strategic planning, policy development, and long-term goals. </li><li>EDA Grant Compliance: Track and analyze performance metrics related to Economic Development Administration (EDA) grants, ensuring full compliance with grant requirements. </li><li>Grant Reporting: Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation required for EDA grant compliance, including tracking project milestones, financial performance, and other required metrics. </li><li>Economic Development Project Tracking: Monitor and track the progress of economic development projects tied to SC Nexus, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and reporting on key milestones. </li><li>Impact Evaluation: Support the SC Nexus team in evaluating the impact of economic development projects, including job creation, capital investment, and technological advancements, and ensuring these projects meet established targets. </li> </ul>Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor's degree and relevant project management experience. Preferred Qualifications Skills and Qualifications: <ul> <li>Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. </li><li>Research Skills: Excellent research skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy. </li><li>Cost-Benefit Analysis: Proficiency in conducting cost-benefit analyses and making data-backed recommendations. </li><li>Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, able to present data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. </li><li>Data Tools Proficiency: Experience with data visualization tools and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau). </li><li>Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. </li><li>Economic Development Tracking: Experience in tracking and monitoring economic development projects, with a strong understanding of how to measure their impact on job creation, capital investment, and broader community benefits. </li><li>Industry Knowledge: Knowledge or experience in energy storage technologies, manufacturing processes, or related industries is a strong plus. </li><li>Grant Compliance Experience: Experience in grant compliance, particularly with EDA grants, including tracking and reporting on metrics and milestones is a strong plus. </li> </ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related role. </li><li>Grant Compliance Experience: Experience in grant compliance, preferably with federal or state grants, is highly desirable. </li><li>Project Tracking Experience: Experience in tracking and analyzing economic development projects, with demonstrated success in reporting outcomes. </li> </ul> Additional Comments Must possess a valid driver's license. Position requires moderate in-state travel.
