This role will act as a liaison between users and developers, focusing on designing effective solutions, setting goals, and evaluating results to maximize IT investments. This is a Direct Hire role. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned product areas, understanding product features, user workflows, and business rationale. Oversee the daily performance of CRM programs and business processes, identifying functional gaps and proposing alternatives. Collaborate with technology teams, support teams, business units, and senior management to gather and analyze business requirements. Conduct gap analysis, write development specifications, and facilitate testing modifications alongside users and developers. Participate in business process discovery meetings to assess technology needs and document business processes for training and error-free operations. Organize employee training sessions and maintain reference documentation for audit purposes. Conduct regular regression testing for evergreen systems to ensure business process integrity. Stay informed on industry standards, trends, and best practices through professional networks. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to address existing and potential IT system challenges. Manage relationships with external software vendors and assist with application support. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business implementation or CRM design and project planning. Experience with CRM systems configuration and requirements documentation. Familiarity with project management methodologies. Prior analyst experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI is a plus. Description The Business Analyst is responsible for business consulting, project management, process design, end-user solutions, and is the subject matter expert for core business applications. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, leading system projects for the business, building systems requirements, providing application support, and managing external software vendors. Responsibilities: <ul><li> Be the subject matter expert for assigned product areas, familiar with product features, user workflows, user objectives and motivations, and business rationale.</li><li> Oversee the daily performance and operation of ERP programs and business processes to identify functional gaps and suggest alternatives.</li><li> Act as liaison between technology teams, support teams, business units, and senior management.</li><li> Work with all levels of employees to understand their business requirements and determine if an out of the box solution exists.</li><li> Conduct gap analysis and write development specifications and interface with users and developers to test modifications and resolve any issues, when required.</li><li> Participate in business process discovery meetings with management and users to assess technology needs.</li><li> Manage and organize employee training and document all business processes to facilitate the error-free performance of business processes and end-user transactions.</li><li> Participate in regular regression testing for evergreen systems to ensure business processes. </li><li> Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.</li><li> Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential problem areas in IT systems across the business.</li><li> Maintain reference documentation for audit purposes.</li><li> Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.</li></ul> Requirements Skills and Abilities <ul><li> In-depth functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics especially in Inventory Control, Logistics, Production Management, Accounting, and Sales order processing.</li><li> Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot as problems or changes arise, strong problem-solving and system analysis skills.</li><li> Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills for the ability to train others. </li><li> Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, be a team player, and able to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment.</li><li> Computer literate with expert knowledge in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint; expert knowledge of all office equipment.</li><li> Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI a plus.</li><li> Attendance is an essential function of the position.</li><li> Must be able to read, write, and speak English.</li><li> Ability to work across geographically distributed cross-functional teams.</li></ul> Education and Experience <ul><li> Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems,Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li> 2 years of business implementation or ERP design and project planning experience.</li><li> 2+ years of Microsoft Dynamics implementation/power user/subject matter expert experience.</li><li> Experience with collection and documentation of requirements for ERP.</li><li> Experience with project management methodologies.</li></ul> Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Regularly <ul><li>Communicates via phone, email, in person, video</li><li>Required to sit, perform keyboard work, for prolonged periods of time</li><li>Operates a computer and other office equipment such as a copy machine and printer. </li></ul> Frequently <ul><li>Talk and hear to coordinate day-to-day phone and in person transactions</li></ul> Occasionally <ul><li> Lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. </li><li> Walk and use stairs to move throughout the building.</li><li> Travel for training and/or implementation</li></ul> Standard office environment.
