THE OPPORTUNITY The Office of Information Technology (OCIT) seeks a highly skilled Sr. IT Business analyst with experience in a large organization, preferably within the public sector.
The Sr. IT Business Analyst will focus on analysis and implementation of an ERP system within the County. Additionally the position is responsible for identifying and addressing complex business challenges within the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze workflows, develop detailed requirements, and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:    Analyze current business processes and workflows; propose enhancements to increase efficiency and align with application/ERP functionalities
Collaborate with Vendor and internal teams to assist in the configuration/customization of the ERP systems as needed to meet the business requirements in all ERP modules such as Human Resources, Payroll, Procurement, Budget, Finance, and other functional areas.
Analyze and interpret data from the ERP system to define reports to address business needs.
Identify opportunities for continued improvements within the ERP functionalities.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university and will have at least five (5) years of business analysis experience in a large organization, preferably in a public sector environment including at least 2 years of experience with ERP system analysis and implementation.

Experience acting as an Agile Product Owner, or Scrum Master, is preferred.
Credentials such as Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred but not required.

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and/or experience in the following core competencies:
