Key Responsibilities <ol> <li>Product Ownership: <ul><li>Define and prioritize product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for commercial lending applications. </li><li>Own the product roadmap and work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for development teams, providing clear guidance and ensuring the successful delivery of product increments. </li></ul> </li><li>Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: <ul><li>Collaborate with commercial lending teams and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements. </li><li>Map out end-to-end processes and workflows for commercial lending products, identifying areas for improvement and automation. </li><li>Create use cases, process flows, and system diagrams to illustrate business needs and ensure accurate development. </li></ul> </li><li>Stakeholder Management & Communication: <ul><li>Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications. </li><li>Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate project status, gather feedback, and manage expectations. </li><li>Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand complex lending requirements and solutions. </li></ul> </li><li>Agile Project Management: <ul><li>Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. </li><li>Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development aligns with sprint goals and delivers high business value. </li><li>Partner with the Scrum Master and development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features. </li></ul> </li><li>Data & Process Analysis: <ul><li>Conduct data analysis on loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and reporting processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Support data integration initiatives between various systems in the lending ecosystem. </li><li>Evaluate product performance metrics and use insights to drive enhancements and optimizations. </li></ul> </li><li>Compliance & Risk Management: <ul><li>Ensure that product features meet regulatory and compliance requirements specific to commercial lending (e.g., KYC, AML, data privacy). </li><li>Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant banking and lending regulations. </li></ul> </li></ol>Required Skills and Qualifications <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. </li><li>Experience: 5+ years in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, with at least 2+ years in the commercial lending space. </li><li>Domain Expertise: <ul><li>In-depth understanding of the commercial lending lifecycle, including loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and loan operations. </li><li>Familiarity with key commercial lending products (e.g., term loans, credit lines, asset-based lending). </li><li>Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance in lending (e.g., KYC, AML, regulatory reporting). </li></ul> </li><li>Technical Skills: <ul><li>Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques, such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and process mapping. </li><li>Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). </li><li>Basic understanding of system integrations, data flows, and SQL (preferred). </li></ul> </li><li>Soft Skills: <ul><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. </li><li>High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. </li></ul> </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or equivalent. </li><li>Additional Experience: Knowledge of commercial lending platforms (e.g., nCino, Loan IQ) and experience in lending product management. </li></ul>Benefits <ul> <li>Be part of a forward-thinking team in financial services, driving impactful solutions in the commercial lending space. </li><li>Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development. </li><li>A collaborative work environment with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on lending products and processes. </li> </ul>
