Reporting to the Director of Data Engineering, the Data Engineer will be focusing on understanding the data flow across source systems, assisting in integrating data for operational use and creating an intuitive and highly integrous data environment to support modeling, analytics and reporting. Responsibilities: •The data engineer will participate in the on-going data warehouse implementation and work closely with the data and risk teams including analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders. This includes the full DW lifecycle of requirements gathering, data modeling, data mapping, ETL, QA and maintenance. •The primary responsibility will be ETL work using dbt integrating data, applying business rules and transformations, creating both normalized and de-normalized data.
