Build rapport, confidence and trust between operational leaders, product managers, and internal customers with the end goal of completing development work that drives operational efficiencies and serves our customers better.
As part of a multi-disciplinary software team, function as the product manager responsible for our internal operational systems and tools.
Develop feature lists, user stories, and roadmaps for building and maintaining systems, which includes developing technical diagrams, data flow diagrams, and deep technical understanding of existing processes.
Maintain and prioritize the squad backlog and coordinate with other stakeholders as progress is made and deliverable dates are updated.
Develop improvement options including goals, time frames, and funding limitations and to model operational efficiencies in various forms (such as time saved, errors reduced, losses avoided, etc) as we evaluate competing priorities.
Gather new business ideas from internal sources, external reference companies and listening to customer feedback, including being able to surface business issues.
Manage other product managers and reporting analysts that support data and operational improvement.
Support the development of associates along with modeling true product leadership to the broader product and operations team.
Work on multiple projects at once, sometimes as an individual contributor and sometimes leading cross-functional teams.
