This role will also interface between third-party vendors and other service delivery groups within Enterprise Technology. The Senior Software Engineer must have the ability to connect with and influence a wide variety of project constituents including both technical and non-technical resources.• Execute upon requirements for web applications and digital media properties built primarily on the LAMP and WordPress tech stacks.• Collaborate with a wide array of Product and Project Managers, business stakeholders, and creative teams to understand business objectives and develop comprehensive technical solutions.• Design and architect scalable, high-performance systems and applications tailored to unique and individual client needs.• Lead the end-to-end solution delivery process, from initial concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices.• Fully engage in “hands on” software development• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools to enhance our service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations, implementing robust measures to protect client information.• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making. Skills & Requirements • Must have enterprise technology experience• LAMP Stack expertise, especially including WordPress and Laravel• 10+ years hands-on CMS development including expertise in WordPress• 10+ years hands-on development experience with server-side PHP and/or equivalent frameworks• 10+ years client-side development: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, jQuery• Must be proficient with Amazon Web Services (AWS) suite of tools including RDS, CloudFront, ECS, Lambda• 7+ years formal development experience (Scrum, Waterfall, or XP).
