Other duties may be assigned. <ul> <li>Developing a comprehensive product strategy for overall profitability of the assigned book using pricing, coverage, and risk appetite levers to achieve profitability objectives for Specialty Lines.</li> <li>Leads the research, analysis and implementation of new or existing product ideas, market development, and product enhancements, including creating supporting business cases, designing solutions, and implementing innovative products for multiple commercial lines of insurance. </li> <li>Analyze and review financial results, product profitability, business mix, and competitive information.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal partners in Underwriting, Analytics, Actuarial, IT, and Claims to understand profitability and market opportunities and risks.</li> <li>Collaborates with Corp UW Line of Business owner, develops underwriting guidelines and letters of authority, for new programs / products within the multi-line commercial lines arena. </li> <li>Present product performance versus expectations to Senior Management noting variance drivers and possible solutions for future opportunities.</li> <li>Plays a key role in the development of short- and long-term strategic product & underwriting strategies in support of AF Group's business and profitability goals. </li> <li>Serves as a key contact for developing and implementing new products or organizational practices specific to the product.</li></ul> EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE <ul> <li>Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Math, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field. </li> <li>Minimum three years of product management experience, or five years commercial property and casualty multi-line underwriting, actuarial experience, or data analytics experience.</li> <li>Progress towards, or completion of, industry-recognized professional designations (i.e., CIC, AU, CPCU) preferred. PAY RANGE: Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate's skills and professional experience, geographic location, market, and other potential factors.
