Job Responsibilities: <ul><li>Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.</li><li>Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems.</li><li>Identify, Analyze, and Interpret patterns and trends in data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and correction.</li><li>Develop data quality monitoring practice scope and capabilities.</li><li>Assist in the design of processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.</li><li>Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.</li><li>Building Power BI reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.</li><li>Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to improve data models that feed Power BI and increase data accessibility.</li><li>Actively seek out and generate new and innovative ways to retrieve, visualize and analyze data across a variety of operational, geological, and financial data sources</li><li>Working with data engineers and various business users to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications.</li><li>Lead business requirement sessions with stakeholders eliciting clear and comprehensive requirements for system features and enhancements.</li><li>Take lead in Data Cataloging, Lineage, Security and Controls for entire data marketplace.</li><li>Develop and execute SQL scripts to test data conversions and perform ad-hoc analysis.</li><li>Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.</li><li>Gain Domain Knowledge and conduct end user training.</li><li>Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems</li><li>Identify, address and document areas for process improvement and automation in our data flows.</li></ul> Qualifications/Skills: <ul><li>Mastery in converting raw data into valuable datasets.</li><li>Excellent prioritization skills</li><li>Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Process oriented with great documentation skills.</li><li>Financial industry exposure would be nice to have since this would really help when talking to our business stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service</li></ul> Education/Experience: <ul><li>BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field</li><li>8+ years of data analysis experience and strong experience writing complex queries.</li><li>4+ years of data management experience</li><li>3+ years of experience in Azure environment.</li><li>2+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Governance</li></ul> Required Experience: <ul><li>Experience in gathering data/reporting requirements from business stakeholders.</li><li>Adept at queries, building reports, and making presentations.</li><li>Verbal and Written Communication skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate ideas in both business and technical terms.</li><li>Must be comfortable delivering on multiple priorities concurrently.</li><li>Must have experience with relational design database design, including creating, modifying tables, views and indexes, stored procedures, functions and triggers.</li><li>Understand software development life cycle.</li><li>Must be proactive, flexible and exhibit the ability to learn quickly.</li><li>Keen eye to identify problems, ideate potential solutions, and ultimately resolve problems.</li></ul> Nice to have: <ul><li>Experience in automotive and Insurance sector is a plus.</li><li>Cloud certification on any platform a plus.</li></ul>
