In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust data pipelines using Python to ingest and preprocess raw data from various sources. Your work will directly support the training and validation of machine learning models by ensuring that the data is clean, well-structured, and ready for analysis. You will gain hands-on experience with data collected from vessels through on-water testing and work independently to implement data validation and monitoring processes to maintain data integrity. Additionally, you will document your processes and maintain organized, efficient code. This internship provides a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a practical setting and collaborate with multiple engineers across divisions. **At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.** **Essential Functions:** + Develop, maintain and optimize the data pipelines and databases for model training and validation. + Collaborate with test engineers and technicians to create interfaces that can improve metadata collection and processing. + Process data from various sources such as raw files, cloud services, etc., into forms compatible with downstream data classes. + Implement methods for automating data ingestion and unit tests for validating pipeline. **Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable.
