Axle is seeking a Data Analyst to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the National Institute on Aging (NIA) located in Baltimore, MD.

Overall Position Summary and Objectives
The contractor will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives.

Work Details:
Establishes procedures to address inconsistencies and track resolutions.
Develops data dictionaries for each database.
Enhances data management and documents data sharing practices.
Applies database management concepts, principles, and methods, including data management systems, storage capacity management, backup and recovery, data storage media, and other tools used for data management.
Works with the data manager to provide data auditing services to studies that are active and ongoing, ensuring data quality meets study goals and standards.
Collects and analyzes data for a variety of studies.
Provides final data sets for each project.
Performs statistical analysis for each project.
Constructs systematic processes for data entry and quality assurance from project onset through analysis.
Performs data entry in support of various systems and programs, including both numerical and text formats.
Organizes, implements, maintains, and archives data.
Works with staff to gather and analyze information from users, primarily principal investigators (PIs), needed for the development or modification of CRFs and accompanying interfaces related to data collection, storage, and access.
Coordinates and performs data entry.
Performs quality checks to ensure consistency, integrity, and robustness of data.
Provides analysis, analytical modeling, and/or data visualization on data sets using relevant data tools, and organizes data for functional reporting.
Creates data workflow processes.
Ensures that appropriate variables are captured in constructed databases.
Formats databases to allow merging of spreadsheets for statistical analyses and to optimize planned analyses.
Records data into a format appropriate for processing.
Applies statistical techniques to produce meaningful tables and graphs using appropriate software.
