Position Purpose: This position is responsible for supporting business initiatives with the appropriate processes, tools, and metrics that bring value to The Home Depot. They must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop recommendations using quantitative skills. Must be willing to invest the time to have an in-depth knowledge about the business, the system, and supporting business areas. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to leading teams on projects, rigorous process and data analysis, effective communication with teams and leadership, reviewing and understanding data, identifying trends in business and the industry, and collaborating cross-functional with business partners. A successful Senior Business Analyst will possess and demonstrate strong leadership skills, analytical ability, and communication. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>20% Organize, manage and execute curricula updates along with learning system updates and enhancements using business and systems expertise</li><li>20% Gather functional requirements, maintain documentation and develop analytics needed to drive field execution and support of learning initiatives, programs and rollouts.</li><li>20% Develop and design dashboards, reports and presentations designed to education, inform and influence business partners in regard to learning execution while supporting field initiatives and business objectives.</li><li>20% Assists with training, education and handling customer service questions in regard to the Learning Management System or related subjects.</li><li>10% Maintain a working knowledge of the business unit processes, procedures and current LMS application, learning content and distance learning program. Multi-task to work on several projects simultaneously, recommending improvements and that may impact the business.</li><li>10% Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in regard to the LMS and reporting functions.</li></ul> Direct Manager/Direct Reports: <ul><li>Typically reports to the Manager of Learning Execution.</li><li>A business analyst may report to this role on a permanent basis. It may also require the technical leadership of a project work team: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project or program objectives, evaluate program or project performance.</li></ul> Travel Requirements: <ul><li>Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.</li></ul> Physical Requirements: <ul><li>Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.</li></ul> Working Conditions: <ul><li>Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.</li></ul> Minimum Qualifications: <ul><li>Must be eighteen years of age or older.</li><li>Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>2+ years of relevant work experience</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Ability to work independently and complete work on schedule</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills</li><li>Experience with data analytics/data visualization (Big Query, SQL, Tableau)</li><li>Experience with Six Sigma and Smartsheet</li></ul> Minimum Education: <ul><li>The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.</li></ul> Preferred Education: <ul><li>No additional education</li></ul> Minimum Years of Work Experience: <ul><li>4</li></ul> Preferred Years of Work Experience: <ul><li>No additional years of experience</li></ul> Minimum Leadership Experience: <ul><li>None</li></ul> Preferred Leadership Experience: <ul><li>None</li></ul> Certifications: <ul><li>None</li></ul> Competencies: <ul><li>Good oral and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills</li><li>Organized</li><li>Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects</li><li>Strong computer skills</li></ul>
